Seidman's Sanctuary: 2019

This post is for the Sibilla deck known as Il Vostro Destino that is published by Masenghini. This deck does come with a little paper that explains the suits and the general meanings associated with each suit but not the cards themselves. I found this useful resource but it's only in Italian. My Italian is still rather basic so I couldn't get the most out of it without the assistance of an Italian to English/English to Italian dictionary and Google Translate. These meanings are here to help you get started. I am still learning this system (and the Vera Sibilla system) and still have a lot more to research in terms of how these cards are read. Hopefully, you find this post useful in your learning of Il Vostro Destino and other Sibilla decks.

HEARTS
Ace: (Trionfo) "Triumph"- Upright: Success in every aspect of life, goals realised, a "Yes" answer, recognition based on skills and talents.
Reversed: Success is delayed, clarification needed, a slow period in the workplace, delays, unable to fulfil a commitment, failed goal.
2:(Fidanzamento) "Engagement"- Upright: A proposal, getting engaged, strong and lasting bonds, successful negotiations, contracts signed, a meeting with family or colleagues.
Reversed: Cancelled plans or projects, delays in agreements or contracts being signed, the inability to reach a compromise, arguments.
3:(Successo) "Success"- Upright: Success, overcoming difficulties, goals achieved, obstacles removed, unexpected gains, career advancement, childbirth, pregnancy announcement.
Reversed: Missed opportunities, work delays, goals fail, obstacles, divorce, end of friendship(s), indecision leading to bad choices being made, a toxic collaboration.
4: (Messaggio) "Message"- Upright: A new beginning, an important announcement, new coming in (via phone calls, SMS messages, emails, invitations, etc), a period of success and good fortune, waiting for someone or something, movement, travel.
Reversed: Travel delays, missed or early arrival of someone or something, unfulfilled expectations, undesirable circumstances.
5:(Casa) "House"- Upright: House, family, economic stability, a physical building, real estate.
Reversed: House renovations needed, family problems, a hostile home environment.
6:(Amore) "Love"- Upright: Falling in love, a new romantic relationship, marriage, moving into together with a romantic partner, love, attraction.
Reversed: Ending a romantic relationship, divorce, separation, the end of love, sexual attraction without romance, fights, infidelity, homosexuality, misunderstandings.
7:(Stare all'erta) "Be vigilant/Alert"- Upright: Lack of problems, enjoying life, engagement parties, wedding announcements, flirtation, being happy and carefree. **Near negative cards: Pay close attention to the actions of people and observe red flags carefully.**
Reversed: Difficult situations, life becoming problematic, worry and anxiety, restlessness, the need to control everything and everyone, possessiveness, prying into other people's lives, obsessive and twisted thoughts.
8:(Regalo) "Gift"- Upright: A gift, an opportunity, proposal, luxurious products, inheritance, fame
Reversed: Problems vanish, everything is going to be okay, financial help comes in a critical time, obstacles overcome.
9:(Sollievo) "Relief/Consolation"- Upright: The end of difficult situations, a relaxing environment, a genuine and longlasting romance or friendship, a sigh of relief from stressful and problematic situations.
Reversed: Being criticised and not getting acknowledged when in need of assistance, disingenuous love, the end of a romantic relationship or friendship, inner turmoil, misunderstandings with family, hostile situations and environments, betrayal.
10: (Matrimonio) "Marriage"- Upright: A proposal, wedding, the desire to have children, buying or renting a house/apartment(flat)/other type of property, agreements, honeymoon, diploma/degrees, company merger, successful business deals.

Reversed: A man who has fallen out of love, a lying and manipulative man, perversion, only sexual attraction.
Queen: (Innamorata) "Lover(Female)"- Upright: The female querent, the querent's female partner, sister, the arrival of good news, success.
Reversed: A condescending woman, a jealous sister, an instructive and gossipy friend, a woman who has fallen out of love, an unfaithful woman, a woman who wants to sleep around.
King: (Marito) "Husband"- Upright: A husband, boyfriend, partner, a father or fatherly figure, lover, a mature man.
Reversed: A disloyal and unreliable man, an immature man, a greedy man, a power-hungry man, an unfaithful man.

CLUBS
Ace: (Vittoria) "Victory"- Upright: A stable situation, receiving recognition, beneficial help and advice, work stability, difficulties overcome with perseverance, career advancement, passing exams, desire for change, loyalty among friends and family.
Reversed: Betrayal, unfaithful partners, fake friends, an unsuccessful period, feeling sad or apathetic, dealing with deceitful people.
2:(Buona Fede) "Good Faith"- Upright: Decisions made with honest intentions, a desire to learn and experiment, happiness and enjoying life, the beginning phase of a goal or project, courage, perseverance, a desire to be more independent.
Reversed: A period of instability, skipping necessary steps, a period of hopelessness and disappointed expectations, reckless actions.
3:(Felicità) "Happiness"- Upright: Arrival of happy news, unexpected visit of relatives/friends/old acquaintances, news of transfers/travel/upcoming arrivals, realised dreams and goals.
Reversed: Disappointed expectations, unfulfilled desires, delayed or cancelled arrival of family, unkept promises, an unpleasant period of blocks and obstacles, moments of unhappiness/remorse/regret because change has not occurred.
4:(Sorpresa) "Surprise"- Upright: The arrival of unexpected and surprising news, unexpected success, advantageous changes, lucky unpredictable events, brilliant ideas, sudden decisions.
Reversed: Inability to get out of old habits, loss of confidence in love and friendships, the arrival of bad/insignificant news, lack of enthusiasm.
5:(Chiarimento)"Clarification/Explanation"- Upright: The necessary clarification needed to solve a problem, crisis overcome, reconciliation, obstacles removed, revealed intentions.
Reversed: Unresolved issues, unable to find a solution, ulterior motives, arguments among colleagues or in the family, a compromised could not be reached, unsettled doubts.
6: (Viaggio) "Travel" Upright: Arrival or departure of someone/visit of or from a relative, an invitation from a friend who lives far away, moving, leisure or business travel, change of residence, conferences, honeymoon, new friendships, an offer of help.
