Hi, I am Søren (Sören/Soren)! I am a Ásatrúar and Nordic witch with a multifarious spiritual and magical path. I am a polyglot and I have been constantly learning new languages for many years. I discovered witchcraft, Voodoo, Wicca and tarot between the ages of 12 and 13 years old. However, my Swedish father forced me to get rid of them because of the spiritual path that was forced on me since I was younger: Mormonism. It was at the age of 12 when I realised that Mormonism was wrong for me and it didn't feel natural or authentic anymore. I temporarily practised witchcraft at around the same time because of it. It wasn't until I came out as gay when I was 17 years old that I was able to free myself from organised religion. But by that time, I had already been disenchanted with all forms of Abrahamism (Christianity-Judaism-Islam) that I wanted nothing to do with ANY religion whatsoever. I was an Atheist for 7 years before rediscovering witchcraft and then eventually tarot through doing a year and a day from studying Wicca before discovering (or rediscovering but with a different perspective) Norse Paganism. Being Scandinavian (and spending my entire childhood there with parents from Denmark and Sweden) made me feel closer to this path and decided to incorporate my spiritual path around mostly Norse Paganism but with a witchcraft practice to go alongside it.
I love learning and I am a perpetual student thirsty for knowledge, especially surrounding non-Abrahamic beliefs and how witchcraft is practised throughout the world. My practice is multifarious because I don't like dogma and hate the idea of "You must do this in this particular way with these specific tools and if you don't have them, you are a terrible person/aren't [insert path here]/etc". Even though I have been quite the rule follower in the past and when it comes to specific cartomancy systems (Lenormand, Sibilla, Kipper, etc).
