 What can we expect going into the first week of April 2025? Let's see what the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards by Rae Hepburn and artwork by Shawna Alexander have to say:

More money and resources will come your way but it comes needing to put your hard work and effort into what you're doing. This could impact how you interact with a younger man in your life (this could be your son, nephew, a younger colleague or boss, a younger brother, etc) for better or worse based on whether or not there is a circumstance surrounding money and/or resources relating to them. You will overcome any challenges that present themselves to you even if it feels incredibly frustrating. Don't forget to delegate tasks and ask for help should you require it. With all the chaos currently going on in the world, you may find yourself in a mindset of feeling unfulfilled in some aspect of your life. If you are unsure what it is then this is the perfect opportunity for you to journal your thoughts and feelings. Perhaps each seeing a therapist or other health care professional (if that is a possibility for you) would be beneficial to you. If not, then try to get a second opinion before making any drastic changes in your life. This is a call to reevaluate your goals and expectations for this month (or even this year) and make sure they can be realistically accomplished.

Now is also your change to address any self-sabotaging habits that are standing in your way of reaching these goals. Create a roadmap for you to find exactly what you are wanting to get out of life. Whether that is a new romantic relationship, making new friendships, finding ways to earn more money, how to approach travelling or even taking the necessary steps to move abroad, leaving an unsatisfying job for a better job that best reflects your skills and talents, and so on and so forth. Whatever this dissatisfaction is find a way to address it. If this involves making strategic political moves (ie: attending protests, calling up your representatives, boycotting products and services supporting unethical and hateful causes, etc), then commit to them without backing down even when you receive unwanted (but incredibly predicable) backlash. With that being said, make sure you are doing everything to keep yourself safe physically and digitally.

There's a need to put an end to something in your life that is no longer working for you. Whether you are able to do get it down this week or not is up to you and your personal situation. End toxic relationships with others. Regardless, if they are romantic partners, friends, colleagues or environments causing you more harm than good. Use this time to cleanse your space spiritually, physically (by decluttering and getting rid of things you no longer need by either selling them or throwing them away), mentally and digitally (unfollow people who cause you stress and misery and do what you can to curate your feed so the algorithm can show you what you want to see more often then not. 

However, you will still have to report, block, hide accounts and ads because Meta platforms are not reliable in getting rid of problematic content. Alternatively, if you can get on BlueSky, Mastodon, or other non-Meta platforms for your social media can also help. Although, it won't necessarily get rid of all the polarising content. So make sure you take social media breaks and spend time out in nature whenever possible. Even if it means just putting the electronics down and stepping outside for fresh air for a moment.

Toward the end of the week, we have new possibilities coming your way. Are you willing to be open to them? Make an effort to seek them and don't miss out on anything that could potentially improve your life. Read the fine print before making a commitment to any new project or venture. Make sure you are willing to do what is being asked of you. If something doesn't feel right, let that be the red flag you need to walk away from it. Don't ignore your gut feeling as it will save you from a potentially catastrophic situation. This is also a reminder to be hypervigilant of scams as they are becoming more prominent and sophisticated. Don't let your guard down. Do extensive research to make sure what you are pursuing is legitimate. If something looks too good to be true, it most definitely is this week.

Overall, the effort you put into your goals will determine what you are able to get out of it. Regardless of whether or not your successful. If you fail, you can make adjustments to prevent it from getting disastrous. May the odds be in your favour this week and any setbacks are diminished. Don't let anyone stand in your way and have a great week.

March 2025 Tarot, Oracle and Lenormand Reading

 For this month's reading I decided to use 3 decks from Ciro Marchetti: Oracle of Visions, Tarot of Dreams (Mass Market edition co-authored by Lee Bursten) and Gilded Reverie Lenormand expanded edition.

Let's start with Tarot of Dreams:

You will be able to pursue an idea thanks to an invitation or suggestion from someone, This will allow you to take immediate action and be able to get the desired results based on the effort you put into your goals and objectives. Don't take on more than you can handle or it will come back to bite you. Focus on the goal that matters most to you this month rather than trying to getting everything done at once.  This will ensure progress is made and will help you make better use of your time, money and resources. It is crucial this month not to waste money or resources because it will negatively impact you later on. Especially, when it comes to receiving unsolicited advice or getting unwanted attention from people you don't want to deal with. This will leave you feeling overwhelmed and possibly burnt out. So how you approach this will determine whether or not you can circumvent this. With all the abuse of power, dishonest people manipulating situations in their favour at the expense of others (Such as propaganda spreading bother misinformation and disformation with the intention to harm others.) and injustice in the world; you need to do what you can take back your power. Don't let people intimidate you into submitting to their will in an attempt to silence you. Use every resource in your tool box to overcome these challenges and keep up the momentum to ensure a lasting change happens for the better.  Your consistent efforts will ensure that this month will help you become successful. Don't forget that you are not alone and that there will be people to assist you when the going gets tough so make sure you accept help offered to you, reach out for help and be willing to help others in your space who need it. Especially, if they happen to share similar objectives to you.

Moving on to the Oracle of Visions:  Put the effort into your goals by focusing on the most important task to get the ball rolling. Brainstorm ideas through discussions with others, create a roadmap (ex: drawing out a web diagram) with a step-by-step guide to how to approach it and then do what is necessary to make it a part of your regular routine. Make sure you stay consistent. A message or package received this month will contain crucial information about a matter important to you or a resource that will be invaluable to you. This message could be transmitted physically via snail mail or via email, SMS message or a chat app like Slack.

Rest will absolutely be unnecessary when you are feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, or burned out. Don't let others hurtful words stop you from doing what you need to do. Assert boundaries without feeling guilty about doing so. Don't allow them to be violated or you will regret it and end up becoming a doormat. Show off your talents with the world. This will open up the much-needed opportunities you need to start a new chapter in your life. Give yourself time to reflect on how far you've come and where you want to be going into the rest of the year. Be vulnerable and let others be willing to be there for you and hold space for you. Especially, when you are feeling fragile. Find a place to express yourself without needing to censor yourself. Whether that's writing a journal or blog, getting a tattoo, making art (whatever that looks like to you), doing karaoke at a public place, etc.

This is also a call to get out into nature regardless of what the current season it is. Just make sure you make the proper precautions to stay safe physically, spiritually, and mentally.

Be wary of any potential scams that appear in your emails, on social media or in person. If something looks too good to be true then it's a scam.

 Don't fall for it. Always read the fine print before accepting any contract. If you are unsure about a situation. It's best to ask for a second opinion. Who you ask is up to you. But make sure that they are trustworthy to you and don't manipulate you into doing something disadvantageous to you. Trust your gut instinct and follow your intuition when something doesn't feel right.

Finally, let's get to the Gilded Reverie Lenormand (Expanded Edition):

A promising connection was made at a very brief meeting. This is due to a deep emotions being flaunted publicly by man in love. There will be manipulation concerning your (or your partner/boyfriend/husband/male in your life's) illness. This was because of emotions being all over the place due to not taking one's own sleep schedule seriously. This then lead to revealing something to the public for attention. This is causing you and your partner (or two men in your life) overcome challenges. The timing of this will lead to a relationship that will thrive going forward.

Vera Sibilla Reading for February 2025

 Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I decided to use La Vera Sibilla to give us insight into what we can expect going into the upcoming month and what we can do to make the most of out this month in spite of the chaos that is currently happening in the world right now. 

February will be bring about disappointments, setbacks and general delays brought on by natural disasters, wars (including genocides) and conflicts with other countries and unfair tariffs put into place because misinformation/disinformation being spread all over social media. Be careful with what you share online and make sure you get the facts correct before you go along with a narrative that could later turn out to be false. 

There's a tremendous amount of extreme uncertainty that will lead to a block preventing you from being able to make progress until you address the issue at hand. This will mean that you will get sick or dealing with a situation that is "sick" that is negatively impacting your current circumstances. Be aware of your surroundings and if your gut feeling and intuition notice something is off. Do not ignore it. Get yourself out of there as soon as possible as it could lead to serious harm coming your way.

Disgrazia reversed can refer to slavery, kidnappings, a dictatorship, dangerous accidents, serious threats and blackmail, abuse and a lost of one's personal freedom. These might seem a bit extreme but with the current ongoing political climate globally, many of these scenarios have become incredibly real and are playing out before our very eyes. If you find yourself in any of these situations, do what you to get to safety. Whatever that looks like for you. 

Remember not to fantastise about better times, you need to be realistic with what you want your life to be and having a clear plan with easy to follow steps with ultimately be what is needed to change the outcome for the better. So if this is you or a woman in your life, make sure the lack of self-control is addressed before it goes off the deep end.

With that being said, this month does offer a chance to spend time with friend and/or family. Whether that is celebrating a birthday, being single, a new romantic relationship, a break-up/divorce, graduation, or any other type of milestone. This is followed up with travel of some sort or someone or something coming your way to provide you the much needed assistance you need. This will come to you through either a SMS message, an email, a phone call or through a social media messenging app like Slack via a trustworthy friend.

Overall, setbacks causing extreme uncertainty will cause all sorts of obstacles that will enable bad behaviour from others cause you to deal with horrible situations (and yes, this can refer to you experience a heavy financial loss) but don't let this cause you to fall into self-sabotaging habits. Spend time with those who matter most to you and your life will transform for the better but it does require assistance from someone you trust the most. Don't be afraid to reach other.

May this upcoming month bring you with a sense of purpose even when life gets difficult.

New Year New Changes? 

I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do with this blog as I haven't made a post here in years. I do want to address the comment on my previous post: Thank you so much! I am glad the meanings I put together for the Il Vostro Destino cards was incredibly useful for you for learning this system. We  are officially into first month of 2025 (at the time of writing this post) and a new year often inspires new changes. So why not make better use of this blog going forward. I have deleted my Facebook business pages (Untamed Magic and Soren The Language Adventurer) as well as my Soren The Language Adventurer Instagram account today. As Meta is becoming more and more of a hostile environment and becoming spammed with AI generated images and accounts, it was time to set better boundaries with how I engage with social media and use platforms that respect privacy, allow users to hide content that is hateful and irrelevant as well as blocking those who only want to cause unnecessary harm.

Obviously no platform is perfect but when a platform removes protections that enable trolling, hate speech, doxxing/SWATting culture and encouraging acts of violence. This is why I initially stopped posting to Twitter because it stopped being a place of fun engaging conversations (yes, there were trolls and what have you at the time) and quickly became an incredibly violent cesspool of hateful people, propaganda spreader and ultimately a place where it seems like any post you make becomes an unnecessary argument filled with hatred and the unwillingness to see nuance in a discussion. When I figured out how to delete it I finally did. I am also not going to use a platform where I am constantly fighting, debating and being bombarded with hate from people who have nothing better to do with their time.

I quit YouTube on October 2020 shortly after moving to the place that I currently reside in. This was not intentional but ultimately I realised that it simply wasn't possible to continue making videos with my previous laptop and needing to be mindful of noise as it could potentially be heard in the rooms next to mine. Will I come back to YouTube? Unfortunately, the answer is no. I feel that this platform was not for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed connecting with the community of people I met through YouTube. I still connect with many of them elsewhere on other social media platforms. I still watch their videos when I can and comment on their videos occasionally. What I didn't like about YouTube was the drama that would almost randomly seem to present itself among creators who regularly made.

It got to the point where it alienated different creators and caused riffs that forced us to pick sides. I got burned out making content regularly and ultimately decided to just do my readings on Instagram and my Facebook business page after that. But unfortunately, I have not been as consistent as I would have like to have been. I do appreciate the feedback on the readings I did for the public on both YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

What about Instagram?

The readings and posts that I have made on Instagram will not be posted here as blog post instead. This will give me more room for me to go into more detail then what Instagram's character limit will allow. Will I be as consistent as I used to be when I started Instagram? Probably not as I have many other priorities I will be needing to take care of this year. However, I will make an effort to post as regularly as I can. I have yet to delete my witchcraft/ásatrú/divination account but it won't last for too much longer so keep that in mind.

BLUE SKY

I have officially joined Blue Sky at the end of last year and you can follow me here should you wish to connect with me there. I have chosen Blue Sky as my alternative to Twitter as it feels exactly how Twitter used to be prior to it being taken over and having its name changed. Yes, there are still trolls and spam accounts but not nearly as many as there currently are on Twitter (no, I will not call it by its new name). I don't have too many posts there yet but I will be posting more there as this year goes by. Keep in mind that I will also be posting a lot of language learning and linguistic related content there along with my divination (Tarot, Lenormand, Oracle Cards, Vera Sibilla, etc), Nordic Witchcraft, Ásatrú, and other spiritual content. I will also use it how I see fit so there many be posts completely unrelated to the topics above.

Il Vostro Destino Basic Meanings

This post is for the Sibilla deck known as Il Vostro Destino that is published by Masenghini. This deck does come with a little paper that explains the suits and the general meanings associated with each suit but not the cards themselves. I found this useful resource but it's only in Italian. My Italian is still rather basic so I couldn't get the most out of it without the assistance of an Italian to English/English to Italian dictionary and Google Translate. These meanings are here to help you get started. I am still learning this system (and the Vera Sibilla system) and still have a lot more to research in terms of how these cards are read. Hopefully, you find this post useful in your learning of Il Vostro Destino and other Sibilla decks.

9:(Prudenza) "Prudence/Carefulness/Caution" Upright: Tests, obstacle need patience in order to be overcome, a period of reflection, a red flag in the workplace, be frugal with your finances.
Reversed: Loss of patience, throwing temper tantrums at one's friends/family/romantic partners/colleagues, intolerance, misunderstanding with family/friends/romantic partners/colleagues, possible fights or breakups, impulsiveness prevents obstacles from being overcome, reckless actions.
10:(Malattia) "Illness/Malady" Upright: A period of illness, a toxic romantic relationship, a period of mistakes/weaknesses/dependencies, blockages, a lack of concentration, a need for attention, confusion, a lack of energy and will, apathy, exhaustion, negative behaviour, loneliness, unpleasant experiences kept hidden, emotional dependence.

Jack:(Nemico) "(Male) Enemy" Upright: Rivals disguised as friends, a period characterised by threats and insults, hidden truths, pitfalls created by false friends, hostility in every aspect of one's life, obstacles preventing success, an unfavourable situation, dishonest collaborations, unjust antagonism, strained relationships, loss of friends, bad influences, dangerous environments, hidden dangers.

Reversed: Sudden expenses, insufficient funds, spending money like water, loss of income, financial woes, denied loans, underpaid jobs, searching for jobs in vain, a lack of resources, a person who is cynical/calculating/morbidly attached to money, pay cut, job loss, staff layoffs.
2:(Contratto d'Affari) "Business contract/matters" Upright: Successful conclusion of business and projects, a conclusion of contracts, customer expansion, increase in money, new opportunities, new work, career advancement, promotions, a new business start-up.
Reversed: Contracts or business cancelled, breakages or bankruptcy of companies, loss of sales, loss of customers, job loss, downgrades or failures, missed collaborations, failed interviews, reduction of salary.
3:(Ritardo) "Delay" Upright: Delay of news or communication, prolonged waiting, lack of opportunities, cancelled appointments, postponed engagement or marriage, postponed cohabitation, disappointment due to a lack of patience, a change that has not taken place, lack of new knowledge, slowness in achieving one's goals.
Reversed: The wait for someone or something is over, wishes come true, a short-term realisation of projects, unblocked situations, sudden change, auspicious time for engagements/marriages/cohabitation, appointments respected, new knowledge, special occasions.
4:(Difficoltà) "Difficulty" Upright: Delays, disappointments, blockages, a period characterised by obstacles, misunderstandings, controversies, inability to react, lack of concentration, loss of enthusiasm and energy, wrong choices or choices not taken, giving up, instability, discouragement, self-pity.
Reversed: End of difficulties, job stability, determination, willpower, a favourable time for any investment or project, problems solved, self-esteem, results achieved through perseverance.
5:(Messaggero) "Messenger" Upright: Arrival of news, clarifying situations, a visit from a guest/distant friend/relative, clarification or contribution to resolving a complex situation, unexpected help, a welcome surprise, suggestions, explanations, information obtained through media, new events, fertility, pregnancy, effective treatment, early and correct diagnosis.
Reversed: Delay or missed arrival of desired news, disappointment, useless waiting, negative and controversial news, fines, missed arrival of mail, missed phone calls, people who refuse to act as ambassadors.

My Deck Collection (Post 2017-2018 Purge)

In the late summer of 2017 and continuing on throughout 2018, I decided to give my deck collection a hard look and decided to go through a massive purge of decks that have no longer have a place in my collection. Such as not enjoying using the deck, not being able to connect with a deck, a deck I bought on a whim but ended up never using, a deck that I used to use a lot of in the past but I fell out of love with and so on and so forth. The purpose of my collection is that EVERY deck gets used. That means that if I find myself with a deck that is collecting dust then it needs to be sold or traded to someone who is actually going to use it. Since I needed money at the time, I decided to sell rather than trade as it would help with downsizing decks.

However, I managed to acquire decks here and there but most of it came toward the end of 2018 and into this year. Anywho, without further ado, here is my deck collection as of 19 February 2019* (at the time of writing this blog post):

#OneLastChanceTarot and #OneLastChanceOracle Challenges (Oh hey, I'm back!)

Hey everyone! I haven't used this blog in a long time since I migrated it over to a Wordpress.com (which I have since deleted along with a temporary website I had via NameCheap). What's the reason for this you may ask? The simple answer is downsizing. I have been meaning to rebrand my website to something a bit more magical sounding rather than "A Splash of Intuitive Wisdom". Don't get me wrong. It's a great name but I feel like a revamp, redesign and new hosting was in order. Since this website was a total bust I am back in the meantime. This will let me write more blog posts and then maintain an Etsy shop for my readings.

In a more recent video on my YouTube channel: Soren The Untamed Seidwitch, I created a challenge for those who wanted to give their decks one last chance before either selling or trading it. The inspiration for this challenge was from Divine Gypsy's Love It or Trade It challenge she had on Instagram back in May 2017. It was my birthday month and at the time I didn't want to participate in any challenges so I didn't. This was because I hosted my first challenge: #Sibillaprile on Instagram prior to this one.

Use decks that you don’t use but for some reason haven’t been able to give them up for whatever reason or other.
1) Why do I not feel called to use you?
2) What’s causing this resistance?
3) Is there a similar function between you and another? (The reason why you use another similar deck over this deck)
4) Where are your greatest strengths as a deck?
5) Where are your greatest weaknesses as a deck?
6) Which type of readings do you prefer to read on as a deck?
7) How can we strengthen our relationship together?
8) Do your favourite spread with this deck or these decks.
9) Dedicate one full week to exclusively using this deck (or these decks if you are using multiple decks) for at least 1 week (minimum) to 1 month (maximum? No, if you feel the need to work with it longer go right ahead but if you are ready to stop after a week to a month. By all means.)
10) Reset the deck: Put the deck back in order and journal about each image in the deck. Which cards do you like? Which cards do you love? Which cards do you dislike? Which cards do you despise or cannot stand to look at? Is this deck too simplistic for you? Too pip-ish and not even people and scenes? Too many people and scenes? Are they any cards in this deck or these decks that aren’t depicted in a way that works for you? Think about what you look for in a deck. Are there cards in this deck or these decks that are breaking the deck for you and thus, making it difficult to use?
11) Does your deck(s) have a guidebook? Do you like the author’s writing style? How well does the author describe the artist’s unique perspective on the deck? Is it in synch or totally off from how you see the deck? Does this deck make you feel too heavily reliant on the guidebook and thus, difficult to read intuitively?
12) Cardstock and backings: Are these factors preventing you from wanting to work with this deck or these decks? Is the cardstock too thin or thick? Is it too glossy or not glossy enough for you? (Skip this question if these factors don’t play a role at all.)
13) Theme: What themes are covered in this deck or these decks? Are they ones you’d normally go for? Something totally outside of what you normally go for? Too fluffy? Too scary? Too heavily themed? Not original enough (ex: follows the RWS to a T that the only thing really distinguishing it is the art style and a few minor details here and there) Is this deck or are these decks depicting themes you won’t necessarily go for but decided to give a go because of the artwork or because something about the deck fascinated you?
14) Is this deck or are these decks way too busy for you to use? Not busy enough?
15) Pick out the cards you like the most in the deck. How many cards did you choose? Once you’ve picked your favourites. It’s time to ask the deck which cards are its favourites and see what cards show up.
16) Draw 3 cards and tell a story about them based on what is going on in each of the images. It doesn’t need to be a long in-depth novel. Although, if the muse from within is calling you to write a novel then by all means.
17) Do a 3-card past-present-future spread based on your relationship with this deck or these decks. (If using multiple decks. Do one spread per deck).
18) Why did you buy this deck or these decks in the first place? What potential did you see in this deck or these decks? Was it the artwork that lured you in? Its unique system? A well-written guidebook?
19) Is this a deck or are these decks suitable for clients (for those of you that read tarot professionally)? (If you don’t read tarot professionally) Is this deck (or are these decks) able to answer EVERY question I present to it (ex: an all-rounder deck) or is it more suitable for a specific topic or theme (ex: love readings, shadow work, etc)?
20) How is this deck (or are these decks) limiting to you as a reader? What questions or topics will these decks (or this deck) not cover or give clear answers on?
21) What challenges do you face when using this deck? Is there something you just can get over when it shows up in a reading? Does your intuition shut off when a certain card or certain cards show up in this deck or these decks?
22) Can you easily pick this deck up and read it almost effortlessly or does it require a lot of work in order to bond with it effectively? What haven’t you done that needs to be done in order to make this deck or these decks more readable for you?
23) Consistency: How consistent is the artwork in the deck? Is it too all over the place? Does the artwork only partially resonate with you? Is it a collaborative deck where most if not all the cards are done by different artists altogether?
24) Guidebook, Booklet, or LWB: If you guidebook, booklet or LWB (Little White Book) has a spread or spreads in them. Try out each spread (if there are multiple spreads) or the spread (if only one) featured in there. If your deck/decks don’t have spreads in the guidebook(s), LWB(s), booklets or didn’t come with one at all. Do a Celtic Cross with the deck(s).
25) Spreads: Go to Pinterest, the archive of Aeclectic Tarot, Tarot forums/blogs/websites, etc and look for spreads on there to try out. Do a minimum of at least 3 different spreads. Or if you are feeling creative: Create at least 3 different spreads for each deck (or do those same 3 spreads with each deck).
26) Draw a card or 3 and find song lyrics or poetry that best describes the scene played out in that card or cards.
27) What lessons does this deck have to offer me? Draw at least 3 cards and journal about what these lessons could be. (If you are using multiple decks, do this individually with each deck)
28) Deck combinations (decks being shuffled together)/Deck buddies (multiple decks being used alongside the deck you are using but are not shuffled together. Think: Kelly from TheTruthInStory’s 3 Voices reading): Do other decks complement this deck when shuffled together in a reading? Or does this deck (these decks) pair well with different systems (ex: a reading using Tarot, Lenormand and Oracle).
29) Pathworking/Meditation: Dive deep into the imagery of the cards. What do you see? How to the characters in the scenes interact with me? What messages come to mind when you meditated with that particular card?’Or if you don’t want to meditate or don’t have time to do so. Do a full moon, new moon or specialised spread. (ex: Beltane, Samhain, Walpurgisnacht, Ancestors, Birthday, etc) Then set intentions based on that spread and turn them into an action plan for your specific goals.
30) Criticisms: Think about what could make this deck better. List what’s not working for you with this deck or these decks. What could be improved on? What insight does working with this deck or these decks give you in terms of decks that you are willing to work within the future? After you’ve written down your criticisms. It’s time to ask the deck what criticisms it has of you. Draw 3 cards. What does each of these cards have to say about you as a reader?Compliments: What did you like or love about this deck? List the qualities you did like or love about each deck. (If there are anyway). Now ask the deck what it likes about you? Draw 3 cards. Create an affirmation or mantra out of them.
31) Any last thoughts when working with this deck or these decks. What was your experiences working with these decks? What do you like or dislike about bonding or lack thereof with the decks you have chosen?
32) Verdict: Now is the time to decide whether or not you are going to keep this deck or whether you sell or trade it off.
