Weekly Tarot, Oracle and Tealeaf Fortune Cards Reading for 20-27 August 2026

Let's get this week started off with the Deviant Moon Tarot:

An out of control situation because you didn't read the fine print and you had to face the consequences of it. Money, time and energy was wasted and laziness didn't help the situation either. (You or other people you were collaborating with). Someone is lying to you and if you are still on the fence on what to do just know that getting out of it will help you dodge a bullet. You will be able to get feedback, fact-check what's going on around you or simply responding to necessary questions to help get you more money, a new job offer or perhaps a means to become financially stable. Things will go your way and you will be able to spend time with people who support you and you will receive messages of support from those who truly love you. (Friends, family and your romantic partner(s) (if applicable)).

Moving on to the Faerytale Oracle, let's see what advice it has for us this week:

Take a moment and appreciate the small joys in life. Don't take for granted what makes your life worth living. Even if it is something as simple as having the privilege to drink coffee on a regular basis. Trust that difficult circumstances will be overcome even when it seems nearly impossible. Life goes on for better or worse. It is knowing to ride the wave, take accountability for your actions, notice what needs to change in your life and then have the courage to make it happen.

 Hard times are coming to an end and you will be able to find humour in this situation as you learn from it. You will be able to experience pleasure and have a reason to keep living life to the fullest. Time can heal most wounds and the ones that cannot be healed will no longer control your life in a negative way anymore. You will be optimist about what's to come and your personal growth will make you a resilient person who can inspire others to heal their lives.

You will free yourself from a detrimental circumstance, relationship (regardless if it is friends, family, colleagues or an acquaintance) and/or habit holding you back from pursuing what you want out of life. It's time to release what holds you back and move toward a better tomorrow. What's something on your "bucket list" that you've always wanted to try? Well, now's your time to start exploring it and making it a goal rather than just a dream you often fantasise about. Get to work! 

Finally, let's see what the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards forecast for the week ahead:

You will face a disappointment of some kind concerning a secret admirer who will bring up strong feelings of love or hate (depending on what your specific situation) is because they are trying to manipulate you into doing something that violates your boundaries and takes away your consent. In spite of this you will experience happiness and good health but someone behaving foolishly is going to cause concern but don't worry about it. It's not an issue you with have to deal with and things will turn out make better than expected. This is also a warning not to fall for a romance scammer on a dating app. Know the red flags, block the account and don't let them ruin your self-worth.

[Side note] Here are red flags to look out for when using a dating app/site to prevent being scammed:

• The photo looks like a comes from a model or adult film studio (Yes, I am aware they are genuine people in this industry but unless they tell you they are upfront, the image (or images) was stolen from a website by a scammer)
• They want to get to use Google Chat, Zangi, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc only after a few interactions.
• Their account was created recently (especially if it was within the last 24-48 hours)
• Their profile has little to no information about them or the information is generic.
• They are looking for a "genuine" person, they have an obvious typo that a native speaker wouldn't make even though they are claiming to be a native speaker. (ex: An extremely obviously one is if they consider their location to be "United State of America" rather than "United States of America").
• They claim to be in the army and are currently stationed overseas (or about to be after a very conversations with them) in places like Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, etc)
• They suddenly make up a sob story about their circumstances and need you to send money via Western Union, MoneyGram or through buying gift cards such as Apple and Google Pay gift cards. Sugar Daddy/Mommy scammers will ask you for a "gift" in the form of these cards. A genuine Sugar Daddy/Mommy doesn't need to ask you for money because they are paying you.
• They profess their love for you immediately and want to move things along quickly.
• They want to call you on the phone (or through an app like Zangi, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc) but refuses to video call you. That's usually a good sign that they are not the person they are claiming to be in the photos.
• They call you on the phone and have a noticeable accent that doesn't match where they are claiming to be from (ex: You hear a Nigerian accent from someone claiming to be a white person from The United States).
• They ask for you bank and credit card accounts claiming that they will pay off your debts (and if they are sugar daddy/mommy scammers they will pay you an "allowance") Then suddenly the credit card payment declines or they send you an altered version of your bank website saying they overpaid you and they need a specific amount of money back.
• They claim they need you to buy them a new phone because they "ran out of credits" and "promise to pay you back".
• Their photos are AI-generated (or there's one random image that doesn't match the rest (this happens quite frequently on Tinder).

There's more than just these but this should give you a good idea of what to look out for when it comes to romance scammers. Stay safe out there!
