21-28 April 2025 Weekly Tarot and Oracle Reading

For this week's reading I've decided to use the Mermaid Tarot by Leeza Robertson and artwork by Julie Dillon, Mermaids and Dolphins by Gillian Kemp, and Messages from the Mermaids by Karen Kay and artwork by Linda Olsen. I was feeling the water element for this week. Maybe it's because it's going to be summer in the northern hemisphere or perhaps that it has been a emotionally volatile few months for me (and many other people I am sure). So without out further ado, let's see what the Mermaid Tarot has to say about this upcoming week:

You are going to be able to use your talent in a creative way. It is up to you how you decide to go about sharing it with others in your space. Pay attention to any opportunity that presents itself to you that allows you to make the most of this talent. Just make sure you read the fine print and do your research before accepting it so you don't get scammed. Things are looking up and if you have been struggling (especially financially) lately, there's something available to help you overcome these challenges. Even if it may take a while for it to overcome it. You have faced a harsh reality check that has forced you to leave behind a situation that has been damaging to you and while it hurt. The good news is that it is finally over. This was a harsh lesson that needed to be learned but ultimately it will benefit us going forward.

There's a lot of injustice and unfair circumstances that have occurred recently. If it is has happened to you, you are being warned not to use retaliation or you are going to make things much worse than they are. Do what you can to take care of yourself. Whatever that looks like to you. If you can get compensation, reparations, etc by all means pursue it. If that is not possible (especially at this time) then understand that it does not define your self-worth and you do deserve better. Do what you can do to enjoy your life to the fullest in spite of the evils of the world.

Excuses are what is going to hold you back this week. What is stopping you from doing what you are desperately wanting to do but have not done so yet. What's really holding you back? Is it not having a plan or general idea of how you're going to do it? Do you need someone to help you reach the next step? Do you need multiple people to help you and not just one? Consider what you need and do what is necessary to get you to overcome this obstacle. Make sure you take time for yourself so that you can focus on what's most crucial to you and your life. Make use of this alone time to learn something new or enhance a skill that can benefit your life for the better.

It is very tempting to feel nostalgic over better times in our lives but were they actually better? Probably not. However, if there is nothing that you enjoyed in the past and want to return to in the present then what can you to pursue it? How can the past motivate you in the present to be better your future? Think about it. 

Finally, you are being freed from something that has been holding you back. Whether that is finally saving money after recklessly spending money, addressing an addictive vice (ex: vaping, smoking, drinking alcohol, weed, etc), or simply getting out of repetitive cycle by changing your habits and mindset.

Moving on to the Messages from the Mermaids: 

Something completely unexpected will happen. It will shake things up and will provide you with a fresh new perspective going into this week. If you are looking for love, there is an chance that you can find a potential partner if you to choose to seek it out. When it comes to learning something new or expanding on current knowledge of a subject, it is time to fully immerse yourself into it. Really make the most of it. Don't overdo it to the point of burnout obviously. But make the most out of it. Give yourself time to rest and relax this week. You deserve it and it will prevent burnout (or perhaps help you recover from it if you are already experiencing it). This is a form of self-care so while it may seem like laziness, it's not. Everyone needs to rest and not doing so has dire consequences. So rest on your terms or get sick and/or injured and be forced to rest. The choice is yours. The former is obviously better than the latter. Put your trust in those who support your cause and who will be there for you when others won't. Who you put your trust in will matter so make sure you don't regret who you confide in. 

It is time to release yourself from circumstances that are ultimately going to lead to your ruin. Even if it means ending a project prematurely, letting go of or delegating tasks you can no longer commit to because you already overextended yourself. Delegate them to others if possible or drop them altogether. 

Understand your limits so you don't further harm yourself (mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually). Free yourself from whatever is holding you back in life. This is great time to get rid of anything you no longer need or want in your life.

Take care of your mental and physical health. Do what is necessary to ensure it is doesn't get neglected or it could cause you to feel unwell. Otherwise, if you have been feeling down or ill recently, then you have the chance to recover from it or at least not let it control your life this week.

We cannot control every single thing that happens in our lives. For better or worse we need to accept that there are things that cannot be changed and what happened did so out of our control. It is what we do with it going forward that is going to make most. Change begins with the first step you take in a new direction. That will cause a domino effect and will lead you closer to the change you desire even if the journey is a long one.

Don't forget to enjoy yourself this week. Have fun in whatever way that looks for you. Life is not about going to work and going home all the time. Use what time you do have for yourself to unwind and do what you want that's enjoyable to you. 

Finally, let's see what the Mermaids and Dolphins: and magical creatures of the sea has to offer us:

A surprise will occur this week that will either leave us feeling empowered or terrified. Whatever happens you will not have any control over it. Expect the best and prepare for the worst. Something you desire is obtainable this week so go get it whatever that may be. Focus on what matters most to you and what you want out of life. If you want it bad enough, you will find a way to make it happen. So don't just fantasise about it, put an action plan together and follow each step no matter how difficult it may be. Protect your energy from people who drain you, defend yourself when people slander you and keep yourself physically safe from those who wish you harm. Be aware of any red flags that present themselves to you. Follow your intuition and trust your gut instinct as they will protect you from getting into a dangerous situation that will get you seriously injured or perhaps killed. So don't ignore it. There will be those of you will receive recognition of some sort through someone who shares a mutual interest in what you do. If it is successful, you may even get them to assist you financially. Keep an open mind and don't be afraid to share thoughts and ideas with those who are interested in what you have to offer the world.

15-22 April 2025 Weekly Tarot, Oracle and Vera Sibilla reading

For this week's reading I have decided to use the Linestrider Tarot by Siolo Thompson, Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle (2nd Edition) by Lucy Cavendish and Selena Fenech and I Misteri Della Sibilla by Ettore Maiotti. So let's get started with what the Linestrider Tarot has to say for us this week:

It's time to initiate the next step of your objectives for this week. What are you looking to get down in the coming week ahead? How will you go about it and what is one thing you can do today to get you closer to this goal. We can no longer dwell on what has happened nor live in a state of denial. What seemed disappointing turned out to be a minor inconvenience. Don't let it continue to hold you back. Heads up! There will be financial hardships that will force you to look at your spending habits this week. What not essential spending could be put away into a savings account or physically put away in a safe place in case of emergencies? Have an honest look at your finances even if it feels painful to do so. It can help show you where you are spending too much money on non-essential products and services and then you can adjust your habits to help alievate this struggle. You may want to seek out a financial advisor for help depending on your circumstances. Keep in mind that tariffs being implement throughout the world and the economy of your country will also impact your ability to spend and/or save money. Do what is realistic for you and your goals. 

Any decision you make this week will require you to stick with it until it's done.  Don't rely on others to help you because they will flake out on you and waste your time. This will then lead cause conflict with those who either not making the best use of their time, money or resources (or intentionally misusing them),  their inability to assist others who need it or simplying denying help when it is needed. People are impatient and are looking to take the easy way out whenever possible. Don't be tempted to do so unless you have another commitment that needs to take priority over this one.

Make sure your emotional needs are being met and that you are able to express any grievance over a specific issue so that it can be properly addressed this week. Regardless of whether it is a work or personal problem. Not focusing on our own needs is going to hinder our ability to help others when they need us the most. Don't let what's going on in the world to discourage you doing what needs to be done. Rest if necessary but don't give up.

Moving on to I Misteri Della Sibilla:  There's either someone working against you in your space who is ready to cause you harm or you're about to experience serious struggles with money that will lead to needing to a have a necessary conversation about not trusting something or someone, losses and setbacks. Concerning money, a friend (sister, colleague, acquaintance, etc) will introduce you to someone who can help you achieve your goals and solve issues that can lead to bad investments, prevent career advancement or lead into a false sense of security that can make you vulnerable to falling for a scam. Don't fall for the daydream of becoming rich without a realistic plan that can be implemented step-by-step. Focus on what can be done now rather than what could be potentially done later. There appears to be a birthday party, wedding, graduation or other type of party or celebration going on this week. Negativity is at an all time high so don't be the person who escalates it for the worst. If this is a business related event, be wary of people trying to social climb their way to the top by stepping on you or others around you to get to it. There will be solution to something that was previous thought to be impossible to resolve. You can finally breath a sigh of relief. For now anyway.

Finally, here is what the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle has to say about this week:

It is time to do your own thing. Create something new and let your creativity flow without limiting yourself. You get to call the shots. So what will you be doing with this energy? Don't let imposter syndrome hold you back. It's never going to be the "right" time and you're never going to be perfect and that's all right. You don't need to be. You are spending too much time indoors and it is impacting your mental health. Get outside (regardless of what season your hemisphere is currently experiencing and as long as there are no natural disasters in your area) and reconnect with nature. Whatever that happens to look like for you. Even if you can only do it for a brief moment. It will be worth it. Take a break from social media and technological devices for a moment and just soak in the physical environment around you. What do you want from life? Are you doing what is neccessary to get there despite obstacles standing in your way? If not, let this be an opportunity to get started on it. Even if it is inevitably going to be a long journey. Spend time with friends and family (if you are on good terms with) this week or at the very least contact them (via phone call, SMS, social media DMs/messenger, etc) and check in on them to see how they are. It doesn't need to be a deep and profound message. Just letting them know you are thinking about them is enough to show that you still care and appreciate them in your life.

If you're feeling stuck, it is time to address it now and figure out what you can do to get out of it. This includes acknowledging where you are not seeing your worth and how self-sabotage is playing a role here. You can't stay in this situation any longer. It is time for change whether you are ready for it or not. Because it is happening rapidly before our eyes and if you don't change, change will be forced upon you and you won't like what others insist you change to in order to make them feel more comfortable with your presence. So don't let it get to that point. 

What are you plans going to be moving forward? Journal them and make them into a realistic to-do list (or whatever that will inspire you to take daily/regular action) so you can make sure this change happens no matter what. You don't not need to rush into anything (unless your situation is dire and fast action is absolutely necessary) but don't use that as an excuse to lazy. Procrastination is one thing but an unwillingness to do it is another. Be patient and allow the process to flow naturally even if it is going to take an incredible amount of time and effort on your end. Fear and a lack of confidence is your road block. Now is the time to put a rapid end to it. No more excuses!

 

Weekly Tea Leaf Fortune Card Reading 01-06 April 2025

 What can we expect going into the first week of April 2025? Let's see what the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards by Rae Hepburn and artwork by Shawna Alexander have to say:

More money and resources will come your way but it comes needing to put your hard work and effort into what you're doing. This could impact how you interact with a younger man in your life (this could be your son, nephew, a younger colleague or boss, a younger brother, etc) for better or worse based on whether or not there is a circumstance surrounding money and/or resources relating to them. You will overcome any challenges that present themselves to you even if it feels incredibly frustrating. Don't forget to delegate tasks and ask for help should you require it. With all the chaos currently going on in the world, you may find yourself in a mindset of feeling unfulfilled in some aspect of your life. If you are unsure what it is then this is the perfect opportunity for you to journal your thoughts and feelings. Perhaps each seeing a therapist or other health care professional (if that is a possibility for you) would be beneficial to you. If not, then try to get a second opinion before making any drastic changes in your life. This is a call to reevaluate your goals and expectations for this month (or even this year) and make sure they can be realistically accomplished.

Now is also your change to address any self-sabotaging habits that are standing in your way of reaching these goals. Create a roadmap for you to find exactly what you are wanting to get out of life. Whether that is a new romantic relationship, making new friendships, finding ways to earn more money, how to approach travelling or even taking the necessary steps to move abroad, leaving an unsatisfying job for a better job that best reflects your skills and talents, and so on and so forth. Whatever this dissatisfaction is find a way to address it. If this involves making strategic political moves (ie: attending protests, calling up your representatives, boycotting products and services supporting unethical and hateful causes, etc), then commit to them without backing down even when you receive unwanted (but incredibly predicable) backlash. With that being said, make sure you are doing everything to keep yourself safe physically and digitally.

There's a need to put an end to something in your life that is no longer working for you. Whether you are able to do get it down this week or not is up to you and your personal situation. End toxic relationships with others. Regardless, if they are romantic partners, friends, colleagues or environments causing you more harm than good. Use this time to cleanse your space spiritually, physically (by decluttering and getting rid of things you no longer need by either selling them or throwing them away), mentally and digitally (unfollow people who cause you stress and misery and do what you can to curate your feed so the algorithm can show you what you want to see more often then not. 

However, you will still have to report, block, hide accounts and ads because Meta platforms are not reliable in getting rid of problematic content. Alternatively, if you can get on BlueSky, Mastodon, or other non-Meta platforms for your social media can also help. Although, it won't necessarily get rid of all the polarising content. So make sure you take social media breaks and spend time out in nature whenever possible. Even if it means just putting the electronics down and stepping outside for fresh air for a moment.

Toward the end of the week, we have new possibilities coming your way. Are you willing to be open to them? Make an effort to seek them and don't miss out on anything that could potentially improve your life. Read the fine print before making a commitment to any new project or venture. Make sure you are willing to do what is being asked of you. If something doesn't feel right, let that be the red flag you need to walk away from it. Don't ignore your gut feeling as it will save you from a potentially catastrophic situation. This is also a reminder to be hypervigilant of scams as they are becoming more prominent and sophisticated. Don't let your guard down. Do extensive research to make sure what you are pursuing is legitimate. If something looks too good to be true, it most definitely is this week.

Overall, the effort you put into your goals will determine what you are able to get out of it. Regardless of whether or not your successful. If you fail, you can make adjustments to prevent it from getting disastrous. May the odds be in your favour this week and any setbacks are diminished. Don't let anyone stand in your way and have a great week.

March 2025 Tarot, Oracle and Lenormand Reading

 For this month's reading I decided to use 3 decks from Ciro Marchetti: Oracle of Visions, Tarot of Dreams (Mass Market edition co-authored by Lee Bursten) and Gilded Reverie Lenormand expanded edition.

Let's start with Tarot of Dreams:

You will be able to pursue an idea thanks to an invitation or suggestion from someone, This will allow you to take immediate action and be able to get the desired results based on the effort you put into your goals and objectives. Don't take on more than you can handle or it will come back to bite you. Focus on the goal that matters most to you this month rather than trying to getting everything done at once.  This will ensure progress is made and will help you make better use of your time, money and resources. It is crucial this month not to waste money or resources because it will negatively impact you later on. Especially, when it comes to receiving unsolicited advice or getting unwanted attention from people you don't want to deal with. This will leave you feeling overwhelmed and possibly burnt out. So how you approach this will determine whether or not you can circumvent this. With all the abuse of power, dishonest people manipulating situations in their favour at the expense of others (Such as propaganda spreading bother misinformation and disformation with the intention to harm others.) and injustice in the world; you need to do what you can take back your power. Don't let people intimidate you into submitting to their will in an attempt to silence you. Use every resource in your tool box to overcome these challenges and keep up the momentum to ensure a lasting change happens for the better.  Your consistent efforts will ensure that this month will help you become successful. Don't forget that you are not alone and that there will be people to assist you when the going gets tough so make sure you accept help offered to you, reach out for help and be willing to help others in your space who need it. Especially, if they happen to share similar objectives to you.

Moving on to the Oracle of Visions:  Put the effort into your goals by focusing on the most important task to get the ball rolling. Brainstorm ideas through discussions with others, create a roadmap (ex: drawing out a web diagram) with a step-by-step guide to how to approach it and then do what is necessary to make it a part of your regular routine. Make sure you stay consistent. A message or package received this month will contain crucial information about a matter important to you or a resource that will be invaluable to you. This message could be transmitted physically via snail mail or via email, SMS message or a chat app like Slack.

Rest will absolutely be unnecessary when you are feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, or burned out. Don't let others hurtful words stop you from doing what you need to do. Assert boundaries without feeling guilty about doing so. Don't allow them to be violated or you will regret it and end up becoming a doormat. Show off your talents with the world. This will open up the much-needed opportunities you need to start a new chapter in your life. Give yourself time to reflect on how far you've come and where you want to be going into the rest of the year. Be vulnerable and let others be willing to be there for you and hold space for you. Especially, when you are feeling fragile. Find a place to express yourself without needing to censor yourself. Whether that's writing a journal or blog, getting a tattoo, making art (whatever that looks like to you), doing karaoke at a public place, etc.

This is also a call to get out into nature regardless of what the current season it is. Just make sure you make the proper precautions to stay safe physically, spiritually, and mentally.

Be wary of any potential scams that appear in your emails, on social media or in person. If something looks too good to be true then it's a scam.

 Don't fall for it. Always read the fine print before accepting any contract. If you are unsure about a situation. It's best to ask for a second opinion. Who you ask is up to you. But make sure that they are trustworthy to you and don't manipulate you into doing something disadvantageous to you. Trust your gut instinct and follow your intuition when something doesn't feel right.

Finally, let's get to the Gilded Reverie Lenormand (Expanded Edition):

A promising connection was made at a very brief meeting. This is due to a deep emotions being flaunted publicly by man in love. There will be manipulation concerning your (or your partner/boyfriend/husband/male in your life's) illness. This was because of emotions being all over the place due to not taking one's own sleep schedule seriously. This then lead to revealing something to the public for attention. This is causing you and your partner (or two men in your life) overcome challenges. The timing of this will lead to a relationship that will thrive going forward.

Vera Sibilla Reading for February 2025

 Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I decided to use La Vera Sibilla to give us insight into what we can expect going into the upcoming month and what we can do to make the most of out this month in spite of the chaos that is currently happening in the world right now. 

February will be bring about disappointments, setbacks and general delays brought on by natural disasters, wars (including genocides) and conflicts with other countries and unfair tariffs put into place because misinformation/disinformation being spread all over social media. Be careful with what you share online and make sure you get the facts correct before you go along with a narrative that could later turn out to be false. 

There's a tremendous amount of extreme uncertainty that will lead to a block preventing you from being able to make progress until you address the issue at hand. This will mean that you will get sick or dealing with a situation that is "sick" that is negatively impacting your current circumstances. Be aware of your surroundings and if your gut feeling and intuition notice something is off. Do not ignore it. Get yourself out of there as soon as possible as it could lead to serious harm coming your way.

Disgrazia reversed can refer to slavery, kidnappings, a dictatorship, dangerous accidents, serious threats and blackmail, abuse and a lost of one's personal freedom. These might seem a bit extreme but with the current ongoing political climate globally, many of these scenarios have become incredibly real and are playing out before our very eyes. If you find yourself in any of these situations, do what you to get to safety. Whatever that looks like for you. 

Remember not to fantastise about better times, you need to be realistic with what you want your life to be and having a clear plan with easy to follow steps with ultimately be what is needed to change the outcome for the better. So if this is you or a woman in your life, make sure the lack of self-control is addressed before it goes off the deep end.

With that being said, this month does offer a chance to spend time with friend and/or family. Whether that is celebrating a birthday, being single, a new romantic relationship, a break-up/divorce, graduation, or any other type of milestone. This is followed up with travel of some sort or someone or something coming your way to provide you the much needed assistance you need. This will come to you through either a SMS message, an email, a phone call or through a social media messenging app like Slack via a trustworthy friend.

Overall, setbacks causing extreme uncertainty will cause all sorts of obstacles that will enable bad behaviour from others cause you to deal with horrible situations (and yes, this can refer to you experience a heavy financial loss) but don't let this cause you to fall into self-sabotaging habits. Spend time with those who matter most to you and your life will transform for the better but it does require assistance from someone you trust the most. Don't be afraid to reach other.

May this upcoming month bring you with a sense of purpose even when life gets difficult.

How to get in touch with me and my content going forward in 2025

New Year New Changes? 

I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do with this blog as I haven't made a post here in years. I do want to address the comment on my previous post: Thank you so much! I am glad the meanings I put together for the Il Vostro Destino cards was incredibly useful for you for learning this system. We  are officially into first month of 2025 (at the time of writing this post) and a new year often inspires new changes. So why not make better use of this blog going forward. I have deleted my Facebook business pages (Untamed Magic and Soren The Language Adventurer) as well as my Soren The Language Adventurer Instagram account today. As Meta is becoming more and more of a hostile environment and becoming spammed with AI generated images and accounts, it was time to set better boundaries with how I engage with social media and use platforms that respect privacy, allow users to hide content that is hateful and irrelevant as well as blocking those who only want to cause unnecessary harm.

Obviously no platform is perfect but when a platform removes protections that enable trolling, hate speech, doxxing/SWATting culture and encouraging acts of violence. This is why I initially stopped posting to Twitter because it stopped being a place of fun engaging conversations (yes, there were trolls and what have you at the time) and quickly became an incredibly violent cesspool of hateful people, propaganda spreader and ultimately a place where it seems like any post you make becomes an unnecessary argument filled with hatred and the unwillingness to see nuance in a discussion. When I figured out how to delete it I finally did. I am also not going to use a platform where I am constantly fighting, debating and being bombarded with hate from people who have nothing better to do with their time.

I quit YouTube on October 2020 shortly after moving to the place that I currently reside in. This was not intentional but ultimately I realised that it simply wasn't possible to continue making videos with my previous laptop and needing to be mindful of noise as it could potentially be heard in the rooms next to mine. Will I come back to YouTube? Unfortunately, the answer is no. I feel that this platform was not for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed connecting with the community of people I met through YouTube. I still connect with many of them elsewhere on other social media platforms. I still watch their videos when I can and comment on their videos occasionally. What I didn't like about YouTube was the drama that would almost randomly seem to present itself among creators who regularly made.

It got to the point where it alienated different creators and caused riffs that forced us to pick sides. I got burned out making content regularly and ultimately decided to just do my readings on Instagram and my Facebook business page after that. But unfortunately, I have not been as consistent as I would have like to have been. I do appreciate the feedback on the readings I did for the public on both YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

What about Instagram?

The readings and posts that I have made on Instagram will not be posted here as blog post instead. This will give me more room for me to go into more detail then what Instagram's character limit will allow. Will I be as consistent as I used to be when I started Instagram? Probably not as I have many other priorities I will be needing to take care of this year. However, I will make an effort to post as regularly as I can. I have yet to delete my witchcraft/ásatrú/divination account but it won't last for too much longer so keep that in mind.

BLUE SKY

I have officially joined Blue Sky at the end of last year and you can follow me here should you wish to connect with me there. I have chosen Blue Sky as my alternative to Twitter as it feels exactly how Twitter used to be prior to it being taken over and having its name changed. Yes, there are still trolls and spam accounts but not nearly as many as there currently are on Twitter (no, I will not call it by its new name). I don't have too many posts there yet but I will be posting more there as this year goes by. Keep in mind that I will also be posting a lot of language learning and linguistic related content there along with my divination (Tarot, Lenormand, Oracle Cards, Vera Sibilla, etc), Nordic Witchcraft, Ásatrú, and other spiritual content. I will also use it how I see fit so there many be posts completely unrelated to the topics above.

Il Vostro Destino Basic Meanings

This post is for the Sibilla deck known as Il Vostro Destino that is published by Masenghini. This deck does come with a little paper that explains the suits and the general meanings associated with each suit but not the cards themselves. I found this useful resource but it's only in Italian. My Italian is still rather basic so I couldn't get the most out of it without the assistance of an Italian to English/English to Italian dictionary and Google Translate. These meanings are here to help you get started. I am still learning this system (and the Vera Sibilla system) and still have a lot more to research in terms of how these cards are read. Hopefully, you find this post useful in your learning of Il Vostro Destino and other Sibilla decks.

HEARTS
Ace: (Trionfo) "Triumph"- Upright: Success in every aspect of life,  goals realised, a "Yes" answer,  recognition based on skills and talents.
Reversed: Success is delayed, clarification needed, a slow period in the workplace, delays, unable to fulfil a commitment, failed goal.
2:(Fidanzamento) "Engagement"- Upright: A proposal, getting engaged, strong and lasting bonds, successful negotiations, contracts signed, a meeting with family or colleagues.
Reversed: Cancelled plans or projects, delays in agreements or contracts being signed, the inability to reach a compromise, arguments.
